Cloudflare protects and accelerates Internet applications without adding hardware, installing software, or changing a line of code.Available Locations: Austin, TX | Seattle, WA | London, UKWhat You'll DoLead a team of engineers who are building innovative products that bring security and speed to millions of Internet users each day.Participate in shaping product strategy based on what’s technically possible and ensure the company meets engineering goals.Balance business needs with technically innovative solutions, translating big-picture goals into technical plans.Manage a team with a track record of delivering scalable distributed systems and earning trust as both a technical leader and manager.Responsibilities and QualificationsExperience leading a team and working across multiple teams to deliver fortable managing teams with broad responsibility scopes.Solid foundation in computer science and software engineering with strengths in software design and distributed systems.Skilled in planning, building teams, and overseeing execution to meet commitments with predictability.Experience in hiring, onboarding, and professional development; ability to explain both "why" and "how".Experience implementing tools, processes, internal instrumentation, methodologies, and resolving blockages.Ability to manage teams/projects with tight deadlines and short release cycles.Bonuses (Desirable Skills)Experience working with or leading teams around distributed systems.Operating knowledge of large-scale storage systems and related infrastructure.Understanding of server hardware, performance expectations, and failure domains.Experience contributing to large open-source projects.About The TeamCloudflare R2 Storage enables developers to store large amounts of unstructured data without high egress fees.
