Our team is passionate about designing sustainable, efficient building systems while delivering high-quality solutions that meet client needs.Position OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Energy Analyst to join our growing team. This role will focus on supporting building energy modeling, sustainability analysis, and performance optimization for a variety of projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with building energy simulation tools and a basic understanding of HVAC systems.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and run building energy models using tools such as Trane TRACE, eQUEST, EnergyPlus, or WUFIAnalyze and interpret simulation results to evaluate energy efficiency strategies, HVAC system performance, and building envelope designSupport sustainability initiatives such as LEED, WELL, or other certification programs by providing energy modeling documentationCollaborate with mechanical engineers, project managers, and sustainability specialists to integrate energy analysis into project designConduct parametric studies to compare design alternatives and optimize building performanceAssist in preparing reports, presentations, and client deliverables summarizing energy modeling resultsStay current on energy codes, standards, and emerging technologies in building performance and HVAC designQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Building Science, or related fieldFamiliarity with energy modeling software (e.g., Trane TRACE, eQUEST, EnergyPlus, WUFI)Rudimentary understanding of HVAC systems and how they interact with building energy performanceStrong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skillsEffective written and verbal communication abilitiesAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environmentPreferred SkillsKnowledge of ASHRAE standards and local/state energy codesExperience supporting LEED or other green building certification programsFamiliarity with building envelope performance and thermal comfort analysisProficiency in Excel, Python, or other tools for data analysis and automation #J-18808-Ljbffr
