The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate or soon-to-be graduate with a keen interest in corporate and estate law.Our Company:Stein Law specializes in estates and trusts, corporations, tax controversy, and tax planning, with more than 30 years of combined experience assisting startups, entrepreneurs, and multi-generational family businesses with the formation and operation of their businesses, beginning with planning and entity selection designed to achieve our client’s short-term and long-term objectives. We represent a variety of entity types, operating throughout the world and their life cycle.Stein law is a highly collaborative work environment where the individual is valued and communication is top priority.ResponsibilitiesConduct in-depth legal research on various federal, state, and local tax issues.Draft and review complex tax documents, including tax memoranda, tax opinions, client correspondence, and other legal documents.Provide tax planning advice and develop strategies to minimize clients/' tax liabilities, both for individuals and corporations.Work closely with partners to analyze tax implications of business transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate structuring.Collaborate with other practice groups, such as corporate or estate planning, to provide comprehensive legal solutions.Attend and participate in client meetings and calls, taking detailed notes and assisting in the development of case strategy.Manage and prioritize multiple assignments and cases simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines.Support business development efforts by drafting client alerts, writing articles, or participating in networking events.Assist in the preparation and review of ruling requests and applications for tax-exempt status.QualificationsRecent graduate or near completion.Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.A genuine interest in corporate law, estate planning, and the intersection of tax law with business operations.Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while managing multiple priorities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.RequirementsMust have the legal right to work in the United States; we do not sponsor visas.Must be available for full-time employment.Benefits (additional)Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance401(k) Plan: Employer match up to 4%Disability Insurance: Long-term and short-term coverageLife Insurance: Employer-provided coveragePaid Time OffPaid HolidaysProfit Sharing PlanContinuing Legal Education: Covered expenses subject to approvalState Bar Dues: Payment for membership fees #J-18808-Ljbffr
