Associate Attorney

Job description The Las Vegas branch office of Tiffany & Bosco, P.A. seeks an Associate Attorney to join our team on a full-time basis. Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years of experience working in a law firm with a background in financial/default servicing, including a working knowledge of bankruptcy law and procedure. Ideal candidates should have experience that demonstrates a strong work ethic and the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced, highly-regulated environment. Job Duties: Represent financial institutions and other clients throughout the state of Nevada in state and federal courts with a focus on secured creditors' rights Review and execute Payment Change Notices, Post-Petition Fee Notices, Transfers of Claim, and Proofs of Claim. Conduct Chapter 13 Plan Reviews Prepare Motions for Relief from the Automatic Stay, Objections to Chapter 13 Plans, and various pleadings associated with the representation of secured creditors in bankruptcy matters Be a self-motivated professional capable of prioritizing multiple tasks under tight deadlines when necessary Ability to manage and meet court and client deadlines Provide every client with respect and excellent service Desired Qualifications and Skills: Nevada Bar Membership Admitted to practice in all courts in Nevada 3-5 years of legal experience Background in financial/default servicing Experience representing financial institutions in state and federal civil litigation Experience representing creditors in Chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcy cases Excellent grammar, research, and writing skills Impeccable attention to detail Exceptional computer processing skills, including high-level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Team player Positive attitude Excellent benefits including paid vacation; 10 paid holidays; medical, vision, and dental insurance for attorneys and their families; annual firm contribution to qualifying FSA/HSA account; qualifying life and long-term disability insurance; and eligibility to participate in 401(k) plan with profit sharing contribution after one year of service.
