The CFO will be a key player in the strategic decision-making processes, particularly in the areas of enhancing quality programming and building capacity. This role is critical for maximizing and strengthening the internal capacity of the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the annual budgeting and planning process, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and managing the organization's revenue cycle to maintain financial stability. Additionally, the CFO will be expected to develop and implement financial management strategies that enhance operational efficiency and collaborate with the senior leadership team on organizational strategies. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a minimum of a B.A. in a relevant field, with a CPA and/or MBA being preferred. A minimum of 5 years' professional experience, with a strong background in financial management, is required. Experience in a non-profit or not-for-profit organization is essential, as is a proven track record in a senior financial-management role. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in nonprofit accounting, including fund and grant accounting, and a deep understanding of the Office of Management and Budget Circular A133 audit.
