Vice President of Operations About the Company Well-established engineering & manufacturing company Industry Civil Engineering Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is seeking a Vice President of Operations to spearhead the introduction of advanced engineering and operational processes, as well as a cultural shift, to facilitate the company's growth from a sub-$10 million to a $30 million revenue target within three years. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the implementation of strategic initiatives, coordinating departmental operations, and aligning operational processes to support market penetration. This role is pivotal in enhancing service facilities, mitigating operational risks, and optimizing costs. The VP of Operations will work closely with the CEO and other key stakeholders to instill process discipline, robust R&D capabilities, and a performance-driven culture, while also addressing bottlenecks and product delivery delays. The ideal candidate will have a background of at least 15 years' in top leadership operations, with experience in active RF components and a strong understanding of the engineering requirements in the aerospace and defense industry. Critical success factors include the ability to establish and track operational goals, nurture a specialized engineered solutions culture, and drive a no-surprises, metrics-led environment. The role demands a leader with a proven track record in continuous process improvement, experience in government and military compliance, and a solid foundation in business, finance, and management principles. The candidate should be a dynamic, engaged leader with a strong focus on people development, and possess the ability to influence and negotiate effectively to ensure the organization operates as a cohesive unit.
