The successful candidate will be responsible for providing physician clinical leadership to advance enterprise-wide efforts in value-based care, focusing on improving clinical quality, patient safety, experience, and the overall cost of care. This role requires a graduate of an accredited medical school with an M.D. degree, a minimum of 3-5 years' in clinical practice, and a similar duration in value-based care settings. The VP will work closely with the Chief Medical Officer and other clinical leaders to assess and enhance performance across various payor-product partners and geographies. Key responsibilities include analyzing healthcare payor claims data, leading quality improvement initiatives, and engaging with physician leaders to operationalize collaboration opportunities for shared patient populations. Candidates for the VP of Clinical Performance position at the company should have a proven track record in driving process, quality, and cost outcomes while enhancing patient care and satisfaction. Leadership experience, the ability to synthesize large data sets, and a strong understanding of clinical performance are essential. The role demands a strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial spirit, capable of leading through complex situations and driving change. While not mandatory, a Master's degree in a related field and board certification in internal medicine, nephrology, or family medicine are preferred.
