The successful candidate will be responsible for advancing the organization's vision, overseeing administrative operations, staff management, financial sustainability, and strategic growth. This pivotal leadership role requires collaboration with the Board of Trustees to shape and implement a long-term strategic vision, translating goals into operational plans, and serving as a visible ambassador to cultivate partnerships and spiritual alliances. The Executive Director will also lead the development and execution of a comprehensive fundraising strategy, ensure sound fiscal management, and drive innovation in program delivery, including the integration of digital technologies. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should have a Bachelors degree (preferred) and at least 5 years of senior management experience, ideally within a nonprofit or mission-aligned organization. The role demands a proven ability in strategic planning, operational execution, and financial oversight, with a strong emphasis on fundraising skills and success in donor relations. Excellent team leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills are essential, as is proficiency with digital tools and a willingness to learn new technologies. The ideal candidate will have a deep respect for or personal connection to the teachings of the Sufi mystic and musician Hazrat Inayat Khan, or a sincere openness to learning about the organization's unique spiritual path. Experience in working with or reporting to a Board of Trustees and a commitment to the values of the spiritual path are also required.
