Adecco is currently assisting a local client, recruiting for a Maintenance Tech in Georgetown, Kentucky. This position is a Direct-Hire opportunity! For consideration for this position, Apply Now! **_Urgent Direct Hire Needed 2nd Shift Position -_** **_Hours are 2:45 PM - 11PM (OT could run shift end time to 1AM)_** Job Summary: This Direct Hire Maintenance position is responsible for, but not limited to, focusing on continuous improvement of our forging equipment and processes using sound engineering principles & practices and project leadership. Duties/Responsibilities: + Perform all work-related functions in a safe and orderly manner + Must have strong knowledge and experience with 480v, PLCs, AB ControlLogix, or other brands + Lead and direct the electrical and instrumentation departments reliability and training initiatives. + Electrical reliability programs to improve the reliability of instrumentation and electrical distribution systems. + Lead and direct specialty contractors. + Assist in developing capital project programs for new equipment and major repairs + Equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards. + Direct and coordinate installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements. Skills/Experience: + Assessing required maintenance tools and skills required for efficient maintenance of equipment + Perform any other duties assigned Requirements: + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. + Must be able to communicate well with others + Must be able to work as part of a team + This electrical position requires an individual that is self-motivated to continually increase knowledge base to make the Maintenance Department more effective and the company more competitive. + Work schedule flexibility, with or without notice, to accommodate the needs of the business Education/Experience: + 1 to 3 years experience working in a heavy industrial environment with exposure to such safety hazards heavy fork truck traffic, ability to work around steel parts heated to over 2000F and automated equipment such as conveyors and Robots.
