Job DescriptionJob Title: Project Manager - Mass Excavation/Mining Overview We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee large-scale excavation and earthwork projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 5+ years of experience managing heavy civil construction projects, including specialized services such as large and small-scale excavation, demolition, gravel mining, and comprehensive earthwork solutions. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to ensure safe, efficient, and successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities Manage all phases of mass excavation and earthwork projects from planning through closeout. Oversee project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and field operations. Ensure compliance with safety standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements. Coordinate with engineers, owners, and field teams to resolve issues and achieve project goals. Prepare and review project documentation including contracts, change orders, and progress reports. Foster strong client relationships and promote company values on every project. Qualifications Minimum 5+ years of experience managing excavation, demolition, gravel mining, or large-scale earthwork projects. Strong knowledge of excavation and earthmoving methods, equipment, and best practices. Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders. Proficiency with project management and scheduling software. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
