Machine Operator Bethlehem, PAMonday - Friday 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM$18 per hourPremier food manufacturer is seeking a machine operator who can ensure a quality product while adhering to customer specifications. Employee will safely operate machinery and equipment used in producing ingredients, product parts or in packaging.Competencies for a Machine Operator:Machine operating experience in a manufacturing environmentMakes sound decisions based on supervisor guidanceWorks in an organized manner to meet daily goalsAble to accept feedback and modify behavior accordinglySelf-motivated and continuously looking to improveResponsible for work done and focused on improvingClearly communicates to others and actively listensSense of UrgencyFamiliar with packaging IndustryRead and write EnglishSkills and Knowledge of a Machine OperatorAppropriate materials are present for efficient equipment productivity.Make setting adjustments on equipment as necessary during the production run.Ensure that the operation complies with GMP's, safety, quality, and SOPs.Ensure that the equipment to be operated is in good mechanical condition by visual inspection, identify any problems and contact maintenance for repair.May be required to shut the equipment down and prepare it for cleaning.Complete all required reports, documentation, etc. and input required information in to the production system.Physical Requirements for a Machine OperatorMust be able to work in temperature-controlled environment associated with freezers and refrigerated warehouses.Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.Must be able to constantly stand/walk throughout the shift.Significant visual acuity for computer screen, small objects on the line or equipment, and ingredient problems.Must be able to work with a flexible schedule including overtime and weekend shift coverage.Benefits for a Machine OperatorMedical, Rx, and Wellness BenefitsDental and Vision Plan OptionsShort-term Disability401(k) Retirement PlanHoliday PayInterested in this position?
