Job DescriptionJob Title: Foreman - Heavy Civil Construction Overview We are seeking an experienced Foreman to lead crews on heavy civil construction projects. This is a union position that offers competitive union wages and benefits. The ideal candidate will have at least 3+ years of experience supervising field teams on projects involving roadway construction, underground utilities, and excavation/earthmoving. This role is very much hands-on-in addition to supervising, the Foreman may also operate equipment as needed to support project progress. Strong leadership, a commitment to safety, and the ability to deliver high-quality results in the field are essential. Key Responsibilities Supervise and lead construction crews on roadway, underground utility, and excavation projects Operate equipment and perform field work when necessary to keep crews productive and projects on schedule Ensure all work is completed safely, on schedule, and in compliance with project plans and specifications Coordinate daily activities, assign tasks, and monitor crew performance Work closely with project managers, engineers, and inspectors to resolve issues in the field Maintain accurate daily reports and communicate progress to management Train and mentor crew members to promote skill development and safety awareness Qualifications Minimum 3+ years of experience leading crews in heavy civil construction Strong knowledge of roadway construction, underground utilities, and excavation/earthmoving Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Valid driver's license required Compensation & Benefits Competitive union pay scale Union benefits package, including health, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage Pension/retirement benefits provided through union programs Paid time off and holiday pay Company vehicle and fuel Send resume to mitchell.guerrieri@ for more informationAll qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations.
