Job Title: Accounting ManagerJob Description We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to lead our month-end close process, oversee general ledger reporting, and manage a small team responsible for accounts payable and receivable. This role is critical to ensuring accurate financial reporting across our multi-site operations and consolidated entity structure. Responsibilities + Lead and manage the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes across three entities. + Prepare and review general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements. + Ensure timely and accurate consolidated reporting for internal and external stakeholders. + Supervise and mentor a team of three AP/AR staff, ensuring efficient transaction processing and adherence to internal controls. + Maintain and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. + Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to ensure accurate cost accounting and inventory valuation. + Support external audits and tax filings by preparing required documentation and schedules. + Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. + Implement process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance financial operations. Essential Skills + Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls. + Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems. + Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. + Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. + Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment within an organization $100M in revenue or managing multi-entity and multi-site operations under a consolidated structure. Work Environment This position is fully onsite at a small manufacturing facility located in an industrial park area. The role is situated in an office that houses sales, accounting, and HR departments. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, with hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 7:30 AM to 4 PM. The dress code is casual. You will initially report to the Interim CFO, with three accounting team members (AP/AR staff) reporting to you in Texas/Ohio. The organization fosters a family atmosphere, promoting camaraderie among employees. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Conshohocken, Pennsylvania. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $135000.00/yr. Medical Insurance: Three plan options are being offered. The employee payroll contributions for the plan year are listed at the bottom of each plan design in our benefit booklet (and the benefit election form). Health Savings Account / HSA (only available for Plan HE30002575i80ES)The HSA Plan has a plan year deductible of $3,000 Employee coverage and $6,000 with dependents. This plan covers services after the deductible is met. Prescriptions are not covered until the deductible is met. The company will contribute to your Health Savings Account for the plan year:$500/employee coverage and $1,000 with dependent coverage. (25% is deposited into your account on 10/1, followed by 11 payments each month. Employees are eligible to make additional contributions through payroll as a pre-tax deduction. See IRS 2024 limit: $4,150 for employee and $8,300 for dependents. Plus $1,000 additional catch-up contribution for 55 and older. All employees enrolled in a medical plan have an employer sponsored $5,000 life insurance policy with Unum Life at no charge.Dental and Vision Insurance: The payroll contributions will be listed on the enrollment form to be completed by each employee. See plandetails in our benefit booklet. Life and Short-Term / Long-Term Disability Insurance:All employees will be enrolled in our company paid life insurance and disability insurance plans. There is anoption to purchase an additional $100,000 of life insurance without medical review. The maximum is$300,000 subject to a medical review. Individual quotes can be provided to each new employee electing topurchase additional insurance.Each employee will need to complete and return the benefit enrollment form provided.Each employee is encouraged to submit beneficiary forms provided for the life insurance policies.
