Lead Operations + Execution in Themed Construction COST of Wisconsin is hiring a Vice President of Operations a rare opportunity for a proven, passionate leader who thrives at the intersection of operational strategy and day-to-day execution . You'll be a builder of systems and a leader of people, driving efficiency, innovation, and results. We create world-class, themed environments zoos, museums, resorts, theme parks, and attractions and we need a VP who can mentor other leaders. Youll lead and integrate operations across: Design & Project Management Preconstruction & Estimating Production Shops & Field Operations This is a hands-on executive role , reporting to the President, with a clear impact on quality, performance, and financial goals. We Need: 10+ years leading cross-functional operations in construction Deep understanding of construction including estimating, contracts, project delivery, and field operations Proven, hands-on team leadership and individual development experience EOS experience highly preferred Bachelors in business, operations, manufacturing, or related field (advanced degrees and/or quality framework certifications a plus) Experience in themed, non-residential, or specialty construction strongly preferred As well as: Systematic & Analytical: Root cause thinker with data-driven decision-making Operational Agility: Can pivot, multitask, adapt quickly, and lead through ambiguity Technical Expertise: Reads blueprints/specs; applies algebraic reasoning Systems Thinker: Develops and implements scalable processes, policies, and procedures Leadership: Inspires accountability and builds a high-performance culture Communication: Excellent writer, presenter, listener, and negotiator skills Relationship Builder: Builds trust with clients, suppliers, and all internal stakeholders Tech-Savvy: Proficient with Microsoft Office, ERPs, and project management tools Additional information: Will travel ~20% within the U.S. We offer competitive compensation and benefits.
