Job Description

Position OverviewThe Real Estate Investments Associate will play a key role in supporting the full lifecycle of real estate investment activities, including development, acquisitions, and asset management. This position offers exposure to a broad range of asset classes and project types, working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to drive value across the portfolio.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelopmentAssist in site selection, due diligence, and feasibility analysis for new development projects. Support the preparation of financial models, budgets, and project schedules. Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and municipal agencies throughout the entitlement and construction process. Monitor project progress, track key milestones, and help resolve issues to ensure timely delivery. AcquisitionSource and evaluate new investment opportunities, including underwriting and market research. Prepare investment memoranda and present recommendations to the investment committee. Participate in negotiations, transaction structuring, and closing processes. Conduct property tours, coordinate third-party reports, and assist with legal documentation. Asset ManagementMonitor operating performance of assets, including financial and operational metrics. Assist in the development and execution of business plans for existing assets. Support leasing, capital improvement, and disposition strategies. Prepare regular asset management reports for internal and external stakeholders. QualificationsBachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or related field. 1-4 years of relevant experience in real estate investment, development, or asset management. Strong analytical and financial modeling skills (Excel proficiency required). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with the Raleigh/Durham real estate market is a plus.
