Bridge Engineer (Raleigh)

We have an immediate need for a Structural Bridge Engineer to join a growing Transportation Engineering firm located in Raleigh, NC. This position will involve analysis, design and inspection of highway bridges and associated structures. Responsibilities Include Work as an integral part of the growing Bridge Practice in NC. Solid structural analysis and design skills with an understanding of related engineering disciplines needed to complete transportation and infrastructure projects. Obtain company ownership on day one of employment. Provide analysis, design and inspection of permanent and temporary bridges and related structures. Work on design-build teams with some of the region's top contractors. Support structural design on selected projects and lead assigned tasks. Assist in maintaining quality of project deliverables produced by the Bridge Group. Ability to work into a Project Management role. Qualifications Include Bachelors Degree in Structural, Civil, Mechanical Engineering; Masters degree preferred but not required. Minimum of 3-7 years of progressive design experience on NCDOT bridge engineering projects. Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain within a year. Solid structural analysis and design skills with an understanding of related engineering disciplines needed to complete transportation and infrastructure projects. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to form effective relationships with staff and clients.
