We are seeking motivated candidates that enjoy working in a team environment on challenging projects to join our group in either our Minneapolis, MN or West Palm Beach, FL office.What You Will Be Doing:Technical analysis, design, preparation of construction documents, reports, and cost estimates for structural, infrastructure, environmental, water resources, and energy projectsFocus on structural engineering analysis and design for a wide range of concrete, steel, and other structural elements for engineering planning, analysis, and design projectsLead structural design team on projects for a wide range of structural and general civil engineering projects and advancing technical and/or managerial career development responsibilitiesRequired Qualifications:Bachelor of Science degree in Civil EngineeringAt least 10+ years of relevant work experienceProfessional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within six months of hireApplied knowledge of structural engineering theory and principlesExperience with design of earth and water retaining structures and hydraulic structuresFamiliarity with drawings, specifications, and basic structural engineering software such as STAAD and MathCADStrong oral communication and technical writing skillsAbility to work in a team environment and lead a team of engineersAbility to manage structural design projectsSelf-motivated subject matter expert; demonstrated through experience, participating in local professional organizations, preparing, and presenting market specific papers and presentationsMust be available for field work and travelPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering (Structural emphasis)Master of Science degree in structural or geotechnical engineeringMicrostation experienceFamiliarity with federal and state government guidelines, policies, and proceduresExperience with USACE structural design standards, construction observation, geotechnical, and soils engineering skillsExperience with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) and other U.S. Federal agencies’ engineering department general design standards and specificationsStanley’s Approach to FlexibilityWhile some members choose to work out of their local office on a full-time basis, we offer a hybrid schedule for eligible positions consisting of two days a week in the office, two days a week remotely, and Friday being a flexible day that can be worked either in the office or at home.
