The VP will drive the delivery of commercial and operational (revenue generating) strategy that supports Parexel FSP and corporate goals. This influential and highly visible role in a fast paced and highly complex environment requires strategic vision and tactical solutions, with the ability to work across the organization to support and drive strategies in business development, talent management, operational excellence, organizational design, and fiscal responsibility. The position also involves liaising with senior management and deputizing for the EVP, Global Head Parexel FSP when needed.Key AccountabilitiesDrive the development and implementation of commercial FSP strategy to support Enterprise and Biotech NBA targets.Develop and implement Strategic Plan Initiatives and revenue generation strategies in collaboration with the EVP.Serve as FSP strategic business partner for Enterprise and Biotech Commercial teams.Lead FSP sales training to support Enterprise Account and Biotech sales leads.Support and attend commercial and client meetings to drive FSP growth.Develop business cases, ROI analysis, and project management for new initiatives and investments.Provide input and expertise with contracts and pricing aligning with business objectives and risk management.Establish and maintain cross-departmental relationships to enable leadership success.Serve as strategic advisor to the EVP, Global Head Parexel FSP and the FSP Leadership Team.Manage implementation of FSP internal and external communication and marketing strategy.Accountability to capture and integrate industry insights into Parexel FSP strategic and client initiatives.Align process improvement, change management, and technology initiatives across FSP.Evaluate emerging technologies and their potential impact on the industry.Contribute as an active member of the FSP Leadership Team to meet business goals and implement company strategy.Support sense of community and FSP culture across geographic regions and business units.Identifying and implementing innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency.SkillsStrategic Thinking and Execution — Ability to translate vision into actionable strategies and execute to planCritical thinking and problem-solving skillsLeadership and Influence — Collaborative skills with ability to influence others effectivelyTeam player with strong interpersonal and negotiation skillsConflict managementBusiness and Financial Acumen — Strong understanding of business operations and financeAbility to develop business cases and ROI analysesExpertise in pricing models, contracts and outsourcing strategiesClient Focus and Relationship Management — Ability to build trust and long-term client relationshipsExcellent stakeholder relationship managementAct as a trusted advisor in client decision-making processesCommunication — Ability to effectively deliver messages using positional authorityPresent complex information clearly to diverse audiencesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAdaptability and Project Management — Thrive in a matrix environment; Manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively; Organize and execute plans with attention to detailGlobal Mindset and Inclusivity — Operate effectively in a global environment; Exhibit cultural intelligence and adaptabilityIndustry Knowledge — Deep understanding of life sciences industry and R&D outsourcing models; Apply industry insights to create value for clients; Informed about industry trends and disruptive innovationsKnowledge and Experience15+ years in life science industry, preferably in a CRO with both sales and operations backgroundDemonstrated in-depth knowledge of drug development, R&D outsourcing models, and vast experience in FSP modelsProven track record in business development, client relationship management, and closing dealsSuccessful history of preparing business plans, strategies, proposals, and client presentationsDemonstrated ability to translate strategy into tactical plans and communicate with stakeholdersProven leadership experience in a globally structured, matrix organizationExperience in organizational analysis, process improvement, or change management (preferred)EducationAdvanced degree in a scientific or technical discipline or MBA is preferred but not mandatory.EEO Disclaimer Parexel is an equal opportunity employer.
