Senior Full Stack Developer (Node.js)

Baker is seeking an experienced full-stack JavaScript developer to support the growth of our product. This role reports directly to the VP of Engineering and involves owning and advancing our client-facing products.Responsibilities :Maintain the Node.js-backed platform codebase, utilizing MVC frameworksManage and optimize MySQL and Postgres databasesResearch and develop innovative technologies and frameworks to enhance the core platformCollaborate with various teams to integrate backend systems with current and future productsRequirements :Positive attitude towards cannabis products and industriesAt least 2 years of credited experience as a senior engineerAdvanced knowledge of Node.js frameworksProficiency in relational database management systems such as MySQL or PostgresStrong understanding of modern HTML/CSS practicesExperience in API design and developmentUnderstanding of continuous integration (CI) practices and testing disciplinesFamiliarity with AWS systems and services at a high levelPreferred :Experience with other programming languages such as JavaScript, PHP, Python, Java, Ruby on Rails, etc.Knowledge of AWS services like ElasticSearch, ElasticCache, Lambda, API Gateway, etc.Previous experience in the cannabis industry, including technology, agriculture, infrastructure, or retail sectorsUnderstanding of high-availability (HA) coding practices and strategiesSkills :JavaScript, Mobile and Web Development, Front-End Development, Git, Web Applications, Node.js, GitHub, HTML5 & CSS3, React & ReduxCompensation :Salary range of $100,000 - $150,000 plus equity, depending on experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
