The JobWe’re looking for a bold, strategic, and culturally fluent Head of Social, Creator & Community to define how WB Games shows up across digital platforms, in fan communities, and within the creator ecosystem. This leader will shape the voice and presence of our franchises—creating best-in-class programs that build cultural relevance, grow engaged fanbases, and turn players into lifelong advocates.You’ll lead and build a high-performing global team of social managers, influencer leads, and community managers—driving storytelling, audience growth, and player connection across every touchpoint. You’ll also develop global strategies that resonate locally, empowering regional and market-level teams with frameworks and guidance to create content and campaigns that are both brand-consistent and culturally relevant.This role requires deep experience in gaming and fan engagement, along with a sharp understanding of how to scale social and creator ecosystems across console, PC, and mobile.Platform StrategyOwn and evolve our cross-channel social strategy, ensuring content is tailored to each platform’s native format, audience behavior, and algorithm — from TikTok to LinkedIn.Stay ahead of emerging platform features and trends to ensure our franchises are innovating — not following.Social Creative & CampaignsDefine and own the global social media strategy for all titles and the corporate brand.Collaborate with brand, studio, and comms teams to ensure platform-native storytelling is aligned with broader marketing and product goals.Deliver brand and marketing strategies; lead the creative development and execution of always-on content, beats-based campaigns, and franchise launch moments — across social, community and creator platforms.Creator & Influencer ProgramsBuild long-term relationships with creators who matter — streamers, lore-savvy fans, content creators, cosplayers, and modders — tailored to the culture of each franchise.Launch and lead a global WB Games creator program that rewards fandom with early access, exclusive content, co-creation opportunities, and recognition.Plan and execute influencer campaigns that balance paid partnerships, organic engagement, and surprise-and-delight tactics.Collaborate with internal stakeholders and agencies to scale programs globally, while supporting locally relevant activations.Negotiate talent deals and track performance across Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, and other key munity Engagement & Player InsightsCultivate authentic fan relationships by engaging directly with players across Discord, Reddit, X, YouTube, Steam forums, and beyond.Lead community-driven campaigns, franchise-specific programs, and in-game activations that strengthen player connection and loyalty.Monitor player sentiment, flag risks and opportunities, and deliver insights reports that help inform publishing strategy, live ops planning, and product development.Build structured feedback loops to ensure community voice influences decision-making across marketing, studios, and franchise teams.Establish moderation protocols to maintain a safe and inclusive community environment.Paid AmplificationPartner with growth and performance marketing teams to scale high-performing organic content through paid media.Leverage data and audience insights to test, optimize, and iterate on creative for maximum reach and ROI.Bridge the gap between brand storytelling and performance objectives through strategic amplification.Data-Driven Performance & OptimizationAnalyze engagement, reach, sentiment, and creator performance to inform content strategy and improve campaign impact.Identify key spikes, drops, or shifts in community behavior — linking them back to content, creator activations, or in-game moments.Regularly report on KPIs, fan growth, and cultural impact — turning community insight into strategic action.Team Leadership & CollaborationBuild, lead, and mentor a world-class global team across social, creator, and community disciplines.Partner closely with Brand Marketing, Communications, Live Ops, Insights, Product, and Studio teams to ensure aligned strategy and flawless execution.Champion a culture of player-first thinking, platform-native creativity, and data-informed experimentation.The Essentials10+ years leading social, creator / influencer, or community programs — ideally in gaming or entertainmentDeep understanding of fan behavior, digital culture, and how gaming communities engage across console, PC, and mobileProven experience building teams and launching social / creator / community programs that deliver measurable impactFluent in social platforms (TikTok, Discord, YouTube, Instagram, X, Reddit, etc.) and creator ecosystemsSharp creative instincts with an eye for content that resonates natively and drives conversationStrong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills with experience managing global stakeholdersComfortable using performance and sentiment data to drive strategy, identify insights, and iterate contentPassionate about fandom, player communities, and the power of storytelling in gamesHow We Get Things Done…This last bit is probably the most important!
