Join us as we digitally connect the world and shape the future.The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Principal Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale AIOps solutions that transform how we monitor and manage our infrastructure and applications. This strategic, hands-on role blends technical leadership, platform evaluation, and stakeholder engagement to deliver scalable, AI-driven automation and operational excellence.You will define the AIOps strategy, architect robust system integrations, and drive automation across a complex cloud-native ecosystem. Responsibilities include designing data flows, integration contracts, error handling, and AI/ML algorithms that enable seamless, scalable system interactions. Success in this role requires strong technical expertise, leadership, adaptability, and a track record of delivering results in fast-paced, evolving environments.The Main ResponsibilitiesLead cross-functional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to drive customer-focused solutions.Serve as a trusted advisor and SME on AIOps trends, best practices, and enterprise alignment.Foster open communication with leadership, resolving conflicts and promoting a positive company image.Mentor teams on AIOps implementation and act as a liaison to ensure consistent, well-defined system interactions.Architecture, Design & StrategyDefine and lead the AIOps reference architecture aligned with enterprise IT and network strategies.Evaluate, recommend, and integrate AIOps platforms and tools based on scalability, ROI, and business use cases.Develop and drive the AIOps adoption roadmap, including telemetry, analytics, automation, and incident response.Architect end-to-end AIOps solutions integrating observability, automation, and service management platforms (e.g., Netcool, Selector AI, Splunk, Dynatrace, ServiceNow).Design AI/ML-driven systems for anomaly detection, predictive analytics, root cause analysis, and auto-remediation.Optimize data pipelines (logs, metrics, traces, events) for performance, scale, and quality across infrastructure, apps, and cloud servicesProcess & Interaction DesignDesign of technical flows and interactions between distributed systems and servicesDefine and document engineering-level interaction patterns, including data exchange formats, API contracts, and automation triggersCollaborate with infrastructure, platform, and application teams to ensure alignment and clarity in system integrationEstablish and enforce standards for interaction design, documentation, and validationServe as the technical authority for cross-system automation and integration patternsDocumentation & SpecificationProduce high-quality technical specifications, sequence diagrams, and interaction modelsEnsure all system interactions are well-documented and version-controlled for traceability and auditabilityGovernance & Continuous ImprovementDefine KPIs and success metrics to measure AIOps adoption and business impact.Ensure solutions comply with security, compliance, and regulatory standards.Continuously research emerging AIOps, observability, and automation technologies to evolve the ecosystem.What We Look For in a Candidate10+ years of experience in network management architecture, solution design, or enterprise architecture.3+ years of experience designing or implementing AIOps solutions in large-scale enterprise environments.Strong expertise in observability platforms (e.g., Netcool, Sev One, Solarwinds, Zabbix, Splunk, Dynatrace, Datadog), AIOps tools (e.g., IBM AIOps, BigPanda, Selector AI), and automation frameworks (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices architectures, CI/CD pipelines, and ITSM/ITOM ecosystems.Strong grounding in machine learning concepts, data pipelines, and real-time analytics.Strong technical writing and systems modeling skills (e.g., sequence diagrams, flowcharts, interface specs)Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Proven ability to influence and lead architectural decisions across diverse technical and business teams.Background in systems engineering, technical architecture, or platform engineeringBS/BA or equivalent education and experienceCompensationThis information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location.
