OverviewDirector Data Architecture at Hilton. Lead a team of data architects and align data architecture with business goals to enable scalable enterprise data solutions within a hospitality-focused organization. What Your Day-to-Day Will Be LikeLead a team of data architects in delivering scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions.Lead the execution of a multi-year data architecture roadmap aligned with business goals and the Enterprise Data Strategy.Provide architectural oversight on major data initiatives, ensuring alignment with business needs and technical constraints. How You Will Collaborate With OthersPartner with business, analytics users, and technology teams to understand data needs.Work with data engineers and platform architects to ensure architectures are technically feasible.Collaborate with Enterprise Data Architects to ensure data architectures align with the Enterprise target state data architecture.Participate in solution review sessions, Architecture Collaboration Council meetings, Enterprise Data Strategy reviews, and director-led collaboration sessions. What Deliverables You Will Take Ownership OfDefinition and approval of architectural principles, patterns, and standards.Multi-year data architecture roadmap aligned with business priorities and the Enterprise Data Strategy. QualificationsTen (10) years of professional work experience in technology or related field.Five (5) years of work experience in data architecture, enterprise architecture, or related data management roles.Five (5) years of experience in a cloud data environment.Three (3) years in a leadership position.Hands-on knowledge of modern data platforms (cloud, data lakes/warehouses, real-time streaming) and integration patterns (ETL, APIs).Hybrid role requiring proximity to one of Hilton/'s US office locations (McLean, VA; Dallas, TX; Memphis, TN).Travel up to 15%. Preferred/Useful SkillsBachelor/'s Degree, or Associate/'s Degree with 6+ years of technology-related experience, or High School/GED with 12+ years of technology-related experience.12+ years of professional work experience in technology or related field.5+ years working in an AWS cloud data environment.
