OverviewFinancial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Director. Duke Cannon Supply Co. is a growth-oriented CPG company operating with an entrepreneurial mindset in the men’s grooming category. Based in Minneapolis, this role reports to the CFO and is responsible for driving growth by overseeing the financial planning and analysis function, providing strategic financial guidance to the leadership team and departmental leaders, and ensuring the accuracy of financial reports and forecasts.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Financial Planning: Lead the development of annual budgets, long-term strategic plans, and rolling forecasts, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategy and objectives.Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis and modeling to support decision-making, evaluate performance, assess potential investments, and identify risks and opportunities.Business Partner: Act as the strategic partner to the sales and operations teams to support growth initiatives that drive market share and ROI targets.Reporting and Communication: Prepare and present financial reports and analysis, providing insights and recommendations that drive strategic decision-making.Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve FP&A processes, systems, and tools to be efficient, effective, and scalable.Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior Finance staff, collaborate with the Controller to enhance the accounting function, and add overall value across the organization.QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related fieldMinimum of 7 years of relevant FP&A experienceStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a drive to advocate for improvementsStrong communication skills with the ability to synthesize data into clear recommendationsStrong leadership skills and ability to tell a story, frame perspectives, and bring others alongAbility to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and strong financial modeling and analysis techniquesComfortable in a dynamic environment and willing to challenge the status quoProven problem-solving ability and drive to move work forwardCPA, CFA, or MBA preferredCOMPANY CULTUREDuke Cannon offers a fast-paced environment with quick decision-making and relentless pursuit of opportunities.
