Position SummaryRT Specialty is seeking a motivated and experienced Inside Broker to join a high-performing brokerage casualty team. This opportunity is ideal for a motivated Inside/Associate Broker with 5–10 years of experience in commercial casualty lines who is ready to take the next step into a more independent inside production role. You will be empowered to help manage and grow with an Office President/Team Leader, taking the lead on their new and renewal book of business, and leverage RT Specialty’s market access and resources to deliver exceptional results.What will your job entail?Independently broker and manage commercial casualty accounts, from submission to placement and servicing.Collaborate with Office President/Team Leader and team members to ensure seamless service and strategic market placement.Evaluate broker submissions, identify exposures, and determine appropriate coverage and carrier options.Negotiate and secure optimal quote terms, presenting coverage and pricing options to facilitate binding decisions.Drive revenue growth through outbound prospecting, lead generation, and expansion of the Team Leader’s book of business.Act as a key liaison between retail brokers and insurance markets, ensuring responsive and solution-oriented communication.Maintain meticulous account documentation and ensure compliance with internal and market standards.Participate in ongoing professional development, including licensing, designations, and industry education.Opportunity for further career growthQualificationsMinimum 5–10 years of experience in wholesale brokerage, commercial insurance sales, or underwriting.Strong construction experience is a huge plus.Proven ability to broker accounts with minimal oversight and manage client relationships effectively.Strong knowledge of commercial casualty coverages, carrier appetites, and market dynamics.Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Sales, Risk Management).Active State P&C and/or Surplus Lines license required.Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to grow and pensation and BenefitsThe target salary range for this position is $112,000.00 - $140,000.00 annually. The wage range for this role considers many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, licensure and certification, business needs, and market demands.
