Overview Chief Financial Officer Assistant position at A B D Federal Credit Union. Location: Warren, MI, United States. Education required: Bachelor Degree. Job Responsibilities Job Type: Full Time Location: Main Branch, Warren, MI Schedule: Monday to Friday (may require a few weekends to meet deadlines) Willingness to Travel: 50% (Preferred) Provide strong support to the CFO in corporate accounting records, in accordance with policies, procedures, and NCUA regulations Essential Duties & Responsibilities Assist with all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting Provide strategic guidance and analysis to leadership and the board of directors on financial matters Lead accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and regulatory compliance Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and economic developments to anticipate challenges and opportunities Assist with preparation of comprehensive and accurate financial reports; maintain meticulous records of financial transactions Coordinate month-end closing procedures for accurate and timely financial reporting Assist with internal controls and reconciliations for safekeeping, control, and accounting of assets and securities Contribute as a key member of the executive team to the financial strategy and growth of the credit union Job Tasks Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports Support budgeting and forecasting efforts Manage daily accounting tasks and reconciliations Support the CFO in financial analysis and planning Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards Assist in developing and implementing financial policies and procedures Collaborate with other departments to support financial objectives and goals Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting 3+ years of experience Broad familiarity with credit union accounting Experience with board reporting, regulatory reports, and NCUA accounting regulations Ability to analyze general ledger accounts and prepare reconciliations Strong communication skills with staff and members Ability to work with board and management to develop financial strategies and report those strategies Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word) Familiarity with common credit union regulations Keywords: Warren jobs Closed Date: 2025-10-26 #J-18808-Ljbffr
