It/'s about each person bringing skills and passion to a challenging and constantly changing world.About the roleThe Senior Cost & Financial Manager for Operations will serve as a strategic partner to the Operations and Finance teams, providing deep analytical insights into manufacturing costs, capital investments, and operational performance. This role is critical in driving data-informed decisions that optimize cost and organizational structures, support long-term capital planning, and enhance financial visibility across the organization. This position is an Individual contributor with no direct reports.ResponsibilitiesLong-Term Manufacturing/Operations Planning AnalysisAnalyze and validate standard costs for materials, labor, and overheadAnalyze current manufacturing footprint, capacity utilization, and cost structuresIdentify and review opportunities for consolidation, outsourcing, automation, and/or relocationEvaluation of financial and operational impacts of manufacturing restructuring scenariosBuild detailed dynamic financial models to assess restructuring initiatives (cost savings, ROI, payback)Quantify short and long-term financial implications of manufacturing planning decisionsDevelop business cases and presentations for senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholdersSummarize findings and recommendations in clear, concise formats for senior leadershipSupport scenario planning and sensitivity analysis for strategic decision makingCapital Planning & Investment AnalysisEvaluate capital expenditure proposals, including ROI, payback period, and strategic alignmentDevelop and maintain long-term capital planning models and forecastsAssist in prioritizing capital projects based on financial impact and operational needsCross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with Engineering, Product Management, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Facilities and Corporate Finance to align financial strategies with operational goalsCollaborate with plant leadership to gather operational data and validate assumptionsProvide financial support for continuous improvement initiatives and cost reduction programsQualificationsWorking knowledge of manual and automated accounting systems, well-developed financial analysis capabilities, and demonstrated ability to manage microcomputer operations and applicationsResults and profit-oriented with the ability to balance other business considerationsAble to effectively manage multiple multifaceted projects alongside daily responsibilitiesEnthusiastic and adaptable with the ability to excel in fast-paced work environmentsFlexible and tactful, fosters collaboration and contributes positively to team dynamicsExcellent oral and written communication skills are essentialWell-developed interpersonal skills and ability to get along with diverse personalitiesIntermediate skill level of Windows and Microsoft Office Professional SuiteEducation & ExperienceA Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance is requiredMust have prior experience in a manufacturing environmentFamiliarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principlesKnowledge of capital budgeting methodologies and asset lifecycle managementBe certified or working towards certification in one or more of the following OR have experience commensurate with the areas of responsibility and major functions listed above:CPA Certified Public AccountancyCMA Certified Managerial AccountancyCFM Certified Financial ManagementTravelUp to 10% travel may be requiredWhat We OfferComprehensive benefits include:Medical, dental, and vision insurance programs401K plans with employer-matching contributionsTuition reimbursementPTOPaid holidaysVolunteer time offFor more information about benefits, please go to: is an EEO/AA Employer.
