OverviewRADIAS Health is a nonprofit organization providing Mental Health & Substance Use Disorders services. The Director of Finance is a member of the Leadership Team and will manage overall financial operations, including cash management, financial reporting, audit & tax-related work. The Director of Finance will be a strategic partner to the CFO, leading and developing an internal team to support billing, accounting, banking, finance, business planning and budgeting.ResponsibilitiesInternal Team Responsibilities — Planning, active participation, and follow-up: Regular consultation with the CFO; regular attendance at Leadership and Manager meetings; periodic financial meetings with Clinical Directors and Program managers; develop agenda and lead Finance Committee meetings; participate in HR Payroll and other HR meetings as necessary; partner with HR Director on 403b and payroll processing; other committee and Workgroup participation as assigned.Supervisory Responsibilities — Finance Team: oversee Billing Manager, Accounting Associate, and Internal Compliance Analyst; manage general ledger accounting and transaction activities (Revenue, A/R, A/P, Cash, Fixed Assets, Payroll, Purchase Card, employee expenses); supervise staff and review their work; develop and maintain accounting policies and internal controls; identify and implement process, system, and technology improvements; stay informed about industry trends and compliance; support ongoing professional growth for self and team.Task-Based Responsibilities — Ensure timely and accurate financial statements; lead budget preparation; partner with Billing Manager on Revenue Cycle Management; provide guidance for new programs or departments; monitor cash flow and report to CFO and stakeholders; manage year-end audits and tax filings; coordinate with external accountants for tax returns; complete reconciliations; oversee grant/contract billing; manage Sage Intacct and administration; coordinate payroll coding and 403b data with HR; prepare for and participate in scheduled team meetings; assist with program budgets for RFPs; manage insurance renewals and quarterly Census filings; maintain professional work hours; perform other duties as assigned.RequirementsBachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administrationCertified Public Accountant (CPA)5-8 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting, reporting, or FP&AExperience managing and supervising professional and clerical staffProficiency in financial software systemsPreferredNon-Profit/Healthcare experienceExperience using Sage IntacctEHR software experience (Credible)Benefits4 weeks accrued PTO first year; 12 paid holidaysMedical, dental, vision, life insuranceHSA with employer contribution and FSATuition reimbursement and Student Loan Repayment Assistance403b retirement plan with employer matchDisability insurance and EAP; wellness programsCasual dress code; mileage reimbursementRADIAS Health is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to pay transparency and equity.
