OverviewJoin to apply for the Sales Director role at Aimbridge Hospitality.Base pay range: $75,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr. Additional compensation types include an Annual Bonus and Commission. The role is based at the Hilton Garden Inn Baltimore-White Marsh with travel as required.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate all group, transient, and catering sales solicitations and bookings to maximize overall revenue.Develop, recommend, implement and manage the division/'s annual budget and the advertising, public relations, marketing and sales plans for the hotel to maximize rate, occupancy and food & beverage opportunities, ensuring revenue and profit goals are met or exceeded.Proactively conduct outside sales calls, sales tours and client entertainment.Understand contract content and negotiate terms therein.Develop and maintain market awareness to predict revenue opportunities and set proactive strategies.Monitor production of top accounts and evaluate market trends.Adhere to Aimbridge Hospitality/'s regulations, standards and sales metrics.Achieve individual and team goals within approved budgets.Train hotel staff to recognize and capitalize on sales opportunities to increase occupancy and revenue.Develop working knowledge of hotel operations (Sales, F&B, Front Office, Reservations).Maintain visibility in the local community and industry organizations.Attend and/or conduct regular meetings and provide training as required; collaborate with internal departments and partners.Travel weekly as required.Act on behalf of the General Manager in his/her absence and perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsAt least 2 years of progressive hotel sales experience preferred; or a 4-year college degree with at least 1 year of related experience; or a 2-year college degree with at least 2 years of related experience.Valid driver’s license in the applicable state.Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to negotiate and influence.Proficiency in professional selling skills: opening, probing, supporting, closing.Strong analytical skills and strategic vision for sales deployment.Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks; strong organization and presentation skills.Ability to interact effectively with diverse groups and resolve problems to build a productive sales team.Advanced knowledge of sales/marketing/hospitality principles and practices.Ability to work well under pressure and manage financial information and data.BenefitsMedical, Dental, and Vision CoverageShort-Term and Long-Term Disability IncomeTerm Life and AD&D InsurancePaid Time OffEmployee Assistance Program401k Retirement PlanDaily Pay option availableProperty informationGuests can relax at the recently renovated Hilton Garden Inn White Marsh hotel in Baltimore, Maryland, with convenient access to local attractions and amenities.
