Base pay range$210,000.00/yr - $265,000.00/yrOverviewA leading national law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its Morristown, NJ office. The ideal candidate will have two to four years of complex litigation experience, ideally in product liability and mass torts, with a focus on defending pharmaceutical products, medical devices, or consumer health/consumer-facing products. Candidates with strong complex commercial litigation experience will also be considered.Key ResponsibilitiesHandles all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motion drafting, hearings, and trial or trial preparation.Defends clients in product liability and mass tort matters, particularly in the pharmaceutical, medical device, and consumer products sectors.Provides litigation support on commercial litigation matters as needed.Collaborates with senior attorneys and litigation teams while managing independent responsibilities.Experience and QualificationsTwo to four years of complex litigation experience.Background in product liability and mass torts preferred; strong complex commercial litigation experience will also be considered.Substantial New Jersey state court experience required; federal court experience preferred.Prior clerkship experience in federal or appellate courts is a plus.Strong academic credentials and excellent written/oral communication skills.Admission to the New Jersey bar required; New York bar admission preferred.Demonstrated interest in product liability and mass torts, with the ability to handle a diverse caseload.Base salary range: $210,000 to $265,000, commensurate with prehensive benefits package, including health and life insurance, 401(k)/Roth, and paid time off.Job FunctionLegalIndustriesLaw PracticeNote: This description reflects the role and requirements as presented by the employer and does not include unrelated postings or notices. #J-18808-Ljbffr
