About the role:We are looking for a Data Software Engineer to join our founding engineering team. You will help architect, build, and scale the core data systems that power Numeral. This is a foundational role with direct impact on how our product scales, how we handle complex datasets, and how we deliver value to customers.Responsibilities:Design, implement, and scale robust data pipelines using tools like Python, dbt, PostgreSQL, and SnowflakeBuild and optimize data infrastructure to support analytics, reporting, and product featuresCollaborate closely with backend engineers, product managers, and operations to ensure data flows are accurate, reliable, and scalableDevelop tools and frameworks to automate data quality checks, monitoring, and validationContribute to engineering best practices, documentation, and team processes as an early team memberQualifications:6+ Strong experience building and maintaining data infrastructure and pipelinesProficiency with Python and SQLFamiliarity with data warehouse tools (e.g., Snowflake) and transformation tools (e.g., dbt)Experience working with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWSAbility to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, with a bias for ownership and actionExcellent problem-solving and communication skillsBonus Points For:Prior experience in fintech, e-commerce, or tax/accounting domainsExperience working in an early-stage startupFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and data observability toolsWhy Join Us?Be a core builder in an ambitious, globally minded startup.Learn hands-on how to scale international compliance systems.Enjoy a flexible, remote-first culture with strong mentorship and ownership opportunities.J-18808-Ljbffr
