Job Title: Quality Control Technician Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Quality Control Lab Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our Bacillus probiotics meet the highest quality standards through microbiological testing. This position requires a strong understanding of microbiology, quality testing, and probiotic enumeration. Responsibilities * Work within a quality management system in accordance with cGMP, SQF, and FDA regulations. * Conduct microbiological assays to fulfill QC release and COA testing requirements per product. * Prepare media, enrichment broths, and buffers as needed. * Perform data collection and analysis to identify trends or issues in product quality. * Maintain QC lab cleanliness and organization. * Document findings and prepare reports on quality control activities. Essential Skills * Bachelor's degree in the sciences (biology, microbiology, biochemistry). * 6+ months experience in a lab environment (could be from school). * Process-driven with a strong attention to detail. * 6+ months experience working in a self-driven and motivated environment (could be from school). * Knowledge of GMP, SQF, and FDA regulations. Additional Skills & Qualifications * Microbiology degree. * Previous experience preparing media. * Previous experience in an industrial laboratory setting. Work Environment The work hours are from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $29.00/hr.
