This role also includes servicing and repairing company vehicles and forklifts to ensure safe and efficient operation.*Responsibilities *· Inspect, service, and repair company vehicles and Forklifts, including brake systems, hydraulics, and engine components· Maintain maintenance logs and service records for all fleet equipment· Conduct routine inspections and diagnostics on company vehicles and forklifts to identify mechanical issues· Replace worn or damaged parts using appropriate tools and techniques· Perform preventive maintenance to ensure building operates efficiently.· Clean and repair common areas of the facility including break rooms, restrooms, stores, and warehouse· Repair building fixtures such as lights, doors, floors, and ceilings· Perform electrical troubleshooting on all facility equipment and machinery· Perform outside grounds upkeep using power tools/equipment· Operates a variety of equipment and machines including gas and arc welding, saws, and hand & electric tools, pumps, and compressors· Drive forklift truck to transport dumpsters· Work with other departments when instructed· Perform other maintenance duties as requested.*Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities*· High School diploma or GED· 1 year of work related experience· Basic knowledge of electric, plumbing, and mechanical· Capable of using power tools· Knowledge of hazardous of cleaning chemicals and supplies· Strong work ethics & is a great team player*Preferred Qualifications*· At least 2 year of related work experience· Experience using dollies, pallet jacks and forklifts.· Previous welding, electrical, and mechanical/hydraulic repair experience· Knowledge of low or line voltage*Physical Demands** Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted* Able to climb up and down a ladder as high as 15ft carrying up to 50lbs* Standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crawling, sitting, & constant movements of hands to operate tools/machines* Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)*Work Environment*· Work is performed indoors & outdoors with regular exposure to cold, heat, noise, and movements of machine/equipment.*Salary Expectations*Minimum Starting Rate of $22Starting Rate Based on ExperienceJob Type: Full-timePay: $ $25.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Employee assistance program* Flexible spending account* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceWork Location: In person
