Maintenance Supervisor

QualificationsAssociate’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred; equivalent experience may be considered. 5–7 years of supervisory experience in a multi-craft maintenance environment. Proficiency in electrical, mechanical, and programming repairs. Basic computer skills, including familiarity with spreadsheet and word-processing software. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Proven ability to interface effectively across all levels of the organization. Highly organized and detail-oriented; capable of managing multiple projects and setting priorities. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends.Responsibilities Ensure all production equipment is maintained and repaired to meet company standards and minimize downtime. Hire, train, develop, and manage maintenance department personnel. Assist in the planning and execution of capital projects. Assess, develop, and prioritize project scopes. Assign tasks and responsibilities to department staff based on project needs. Purchase parts and supplies for maintenance operations. Coordinate repair and maintenance schedules with production supervisors. Maintain appropriate inventory levels of spare parts. Collaborate with the Plant Scheduler to develop and implement preventative maintenance plans. Participate in repair and maintenance activities as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment that supports food safety, product quality, and personal safety. Serve as backup to the Lead Technician, Director of Maintenance, and other maintenance team members. Receive backup support from the Director of Maintenance and Lead Technician when necessary.
