Test Specialist (Instrumentation Technician)Location: Greenville, SC 29615 Duration: 18 month contract Schedule: M-F, 7am-4pm, up to 50% travel Pay: Up to $30/hour Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401KRequired: Associate’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering 3+ years of relevant experience Experience in execution of industrial equipment tests. Familiar with testing equipment. Documents test results per ISO procedures. Support set up and facility trouble shooting as required. Configures, operates, and maintains instrumentation and data acquisition systems utilized by development laboratory. Strong computer skills (MS Excel, Lab View etc.) Able to work independently with minimal guidance Willing to travel 50% (domestically and internationally) Overview: Install and troubleshoot instrumentation equipment for turbine testing Run efficiency tests at customer sites Coordinate with manufacturing and vendors on instrumentation assembly Collaborate on design and application of instrumentation for gas turbine hardware Manage validation projects and review budgets, schedules, and drawings Install cables in cable trays Pack, ship, and set up test equipment***** $25/hr to $30/hr.Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
