JOB TITLE:Lead Maintenance Mechanic Gardian Holdings, LLC is a leading manufacturer of patented cargo securement technologies used in over the road, rail and ocean shipping. Gardian Holdings, LLC has a long history of market leading innovations in this space and is growing rapidly with its two primary products, Ty-Gard and Shock-Gard. We are looking for a Lead Maintenance Mechanic in our Bensalem, PA location to serve as the go-to resource and subject matter expert (SME) for maintenance and equipment operation support. In addition to conducting preventative and corrective maintenance, this role is also involved in executing R&D projects and continuous improvement efforts. The Lead Maintenance Mechanic also serves as support to the rest of the maintenance team, providing directions as necessary. The role is responsible for promoting a safe, high-quality, and efficient work environment in line with Gardian Holdings LLC’s continuous improvement standards. Full-time 100% fully funded benefits including medical, vision, dental and 401K with employer match.JOB TITLE:Lead Maintenance Mechanic DEPARTMENT:Production REPORTS TO:Process Engineer CLASSIFICATION:Non-ExemptCore Working Relationships: Director of Operations, Operations Leaders and other Maintenance team members.Accountabilities: Technical Leadership Support all technical equipment on site, including boilers, air compressors, production assets, and forklifts. Responding to any equipment that is malfunctioning to reduce and avoid downtime.Preventative Maintenance Compile preventative maintenance routines and schedules for all assets and monitor performance of completionContinuous Improvement Initiatives Participate in projects to develop and improve equipment and processes. May include fabrication, assembly, installation, and integration of varying systems and components.Parts Inventory Source and stock tools, components, and parts as necessary and ensure critical spare parts are maintained in stock at appropriate levels.Culture Leadership Promote a culture of safety, accountability, reliability, and respect.Skills, Knowledge and Experience:5+ years of industrial maintenance experience Electrical and mechanical expertise Leadership experience Experience with maintenance related CMMS is a plus. Trade school preferred Excellent communication skills Strong leadership in safety and company culture Accommodation and support to business and operations needs Leadership in maintenance initiatives and urgency in machine-down reactionWORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Periods of standing/walking/sitting. Occasionally work near moving mechanical parts. Occasional loud noise.
