Job *****Chiller Technician – Commercial HVAC*****Charlottesville, VA *****$50 / hr About the Opportunity We are seeking a highly skilled and motivatedChiller Technicianto join our dynamic HVAC team inCharlottesville, VA. This role is ideal for a career-oriented technician with deep technical knowledge ofchilled water systems,boilers, andcomplex HVAC equipment, who is ready to lead and mentor others while delivering top-tier service to our commercial clients. ️ What You’ll Do Troubleshoot, repair, and maintaincentrifugal chillers,reciprocating,absorption, andscrew chillers, as well as associatedpneumatic and electrical control systems. Servicemedium to large HVAC systems, includingrooftop units,DX systems,boilers, and related mechanical systems. Accurately diagnose system failures, test components using appropriate instrumentation, and perform necessary disassembly and reassembly. Provide hands-on leadership and technical guidance to HVAC technicians and apprentices in the field. Maintain a high standard of safety, quality, and customer service across all projects. ✅ What We’re Looking For Proven experienceas an HVAC Service Technician with specialized expertise inchilled water systems. Hands-on experience with boilersand their control systems. Strong skills in diagnosing and repairing complex commercial HVAC systems. Ability to read and interprettechnical drawings, equipment specs, and job conditions. A collaborative mindset and willingness to mentor apprentices and junior techs. EPA Universal Certification(required). Journeyman or Master HVAC License(preferred but not required). Solid understanding ofOSHA safety regulations. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
