We are seeking a highly motivatedCustomer Service Representativeto join our team inNorwood, MA. In this critical role, you’ll be the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring exceptional service while supporting the order management and fulfillment process.What You’ll Do Manage and process incoming customer orders, ensuring accuracy against specifications, blueprints, and quotes. Serve as thekey customer contact, handling inquiries, scheduling, delivery updates, and quality performance issues. Investigate and resolve customer complaints, coordinating with the Quality Department onReturn Material Authorizations (RMAs). Create and maintain accurate customer and item records in theERP/MRP system. Collaborate cross-functionally withSupply Chain, Quality, and Productionteams to ensure seamless order flow and timely delivery. Support quoting activities by gathering key data such as history, blueprints, and revisions. Monitor customer backlogs, analyze order trends, and proactively solicit reorders. Participate in production meetings and offercontinuous process improvementideas. Maintain a high level of professionalism and technical competence, representing Applied Plastics both internally and externally.What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degreein Business or related field (preferred). 5+ years of customer service experiencein a manufacturing environment. StrongERP/MRP system experience(required). Proficiency inMicrosoft Office. Ability to interpret blueprints (preferred). Priorcontract review experiencein manufacturing (preferred). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
