Aircraft Maintenance Technician

Salary ***** ($28.65 - $41.50)/Hourly***** Indianapolis, IN/ Greenfield, IN /Savannah, GA ***** 1st Shift 07:00 AM – 03:30 PM [Monday – Friday] 2nd shift 03:00 PM - 01:30 AM [Monday – Thursday] Weekend Shift Friday – Sunday 12-hour days (weekends 6am – 6:30pm with 10% uptick - 36 hours worked paid for 40) (8% differential on 2nd shift and 10% differential on weekend shift) Relocation assistance is available for this position if applicableRelocation assistance is available for this position if applicableAs the field technician III, you will join our team of technicians based in Indianapolis/Greenfield IN supporting business and civil large aviation customers in our repair station shop. In this role you will provide maintenance, repair, and overhaul services on aircraft engines and you will work varying shifts and travel domestically and internationally up to 40%. This role will have occasional on-call weekends once a month.Key ***** Comply with work scope instructions as directed by our Maintenance Operations Control Disassemble, clean, re-assemble and repair engines and modules Must be able to obtain and maintain repair station inspection approvals Ability to lift up to approximately 50 pounds and pass a required eye exam Use troubleshooting logic to identify defects in component or parts and access / use engine data materials such as AMM, EMM, IPC, etc. Understand; interpret and apply Service Bulletins, FAA Advisory Directives and Technical Variances when applicableBasic ***** High School Diploma or GED (General Educational Development) with 3+ years of aircraft maintenance, repair, and/or overhaul experience, OR Associate's degree with 2+ years of aircraft maintenance, repair, and/or overhaul FAA Airframe & Power Plant LicensePreferred ***** Gas turbine engine experience Customer relations experience Engine or Aircraft logbook familiarity Prior FAR145 repair station experience Understanding of basic to intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel functionalityPride Global offers eligible employee's comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto, home insurance, pet insurance and employee discounts with preferred vendors.
