Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring for an Assembler. Full Time, Contract Duration: 12 months (possible extension) Location: Sterling, VA, 20164 Shift available: 1st Shift: 6 AM - 3:00 PM Primary Responsibility: Reads, interprets and follows blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions. • Operates hand tools, electrical tools, molding, sanding/cutting of acrylic, measuring equipment and light equipment. • Ability to Use Drill & Drill Bits • Maintains inventory of product in workstations. • Performs quality work checks, identifies product defects and records identified defects. • Reworks and/or repairs assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes. • Performs all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures. • Operates Fork Trucks and Overhead Cranes to load/unload material and finished products. • Required Skill Sets: -Mechanical Skills -Ability to Read and Interpret Blueprints -Knowledge of and Experience Using Basic Hand Tools -Ability to Use Drill & Drill Bits -Ability to Get Along with a Team -selected candidate will need STEEL TOED BOOTS PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS: 00 to $17/per hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidates education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Medical & pharmacy coverage, Dental/vision insurance, 401(k), Health saving account (HSA) and Flexible spending account (FSA), Life Insurance, Pet Insurance, Short term and Long term Disability, Accident & Critical illness coverage, Pre-paid legal & ID theft protection, Sick time, and other types of paid leaves (as required by law), Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
