Job ***** Interface Lead ***** 6–12 months (initial contract; extensions possible) ***** 100 Hancock Street, Quincy, MA 02171 (Hybrid – in-office + work from home, accessible by public transport; no contractor parking)*****Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, IT, Healthcare Administration, or equivalent work experience. Required Tasks to be ***** Serve as the primary point of contact for 20+ external business partners and vendors for file exchange and API-based interface activities. Lead planning, design, implementation, and maintenance of MMIS interfaces(file-based and web service/API integrations). Gather and analyze interface requirements and technical specifications to ensure seamless data exchange. Manageend-to-end interface lifecycle (onboarding, change management, enhancements, testing, deployment, production support). Coordinate with internal cross-functional teams (technical, infrastructure, security, and business SMEs). Establish and enforce interface standards, formats, communication protocols, routing, and transport mechanisms. Monitor daily file exchangesand API transactionsto ensure delivery, accuracy,and SLA compliance. Conduct root cause analysis and remediation of interface-related issues. Ensure secure data exchange (SSA, PHI, HIPAA compliance, state data privacy). Plan and conduct integration, regression, andUAT testingwith partners. Manage communications for deployments, outages, upgrades, and incidents. Maintain interface documentation(specs, data mappings, flows, runbooks, support procedures). Collaborate with infrastructure oncertificates, firewalls, VPNs, gateways, SFTP/API environments. Provide strategic recommendations for process improvement, automation, and efficiency. Mentor and provide technical leadership to analysts and support staff. Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs): 10+ years IT experiencewith provenMMIS interface leadershipand support. Deep technical knowledgeof IT infrastructure,hosting environments, and integration standards. Extensive interfacearchitecture/design/development experience. Strong understanding ofSOAP/Web Services, XML,enterprise data exchange. Hands-on experience withsecure file exchange protocols (SFTP, etc.). Skilled in writingrequirements, design specs, and technical documentation. Proficient inSQL fordata validation, analysis, and troubleshooting. Experience withAPI validationandtesting tools (e.g., SoapUI). Knowledge ofencryption standards, security protocols, andUnix/Linux. Stronghealthcare/Medicaid/MMIS expertisewith focus oninterface design and transactional processing.
