At Bare Home, youll experience the satisfaction of ownership over projects, working alongside friendly, dedicated colleagues in a fast-paced setting where no two days are the same.Position Overview: We are seeking a safety-focused Maintenance Supervisor to join our growing operations team and ensure our facility, equipment, and safety systems operate at peak performance. This role is perfect for an experienced maintenance professional with 5+ years of experience who thrives on problem-solving, preventive maintenance, and contributing to operational excellence through meticulous facility management. Youll play a crucial role in our continued expansion, working directly with local contractors, managing our safety program, and ensuring operational continuity across our warehouse and manufacturing operations.Key Responsibilities: Facility & Equipment Management (60% of role): Oversee maintenance of material handling equipment including forklifts, cherry pickers, and turret trucks Manage facility systems including HVAC, compressed air, electrical, and grounds maintenance Coordinate monthly equipment testing, safety inspections, and preventive maintenance programs Supervise snow removal, parking lot maintenance, and facility vehicle upkeep Oversee fabrication and repair projects to support operational needs Develop and maintain maintenance schedules using Excel and project tracking systemsSafety Leadership & Compliance (25% of role): Lead Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) procedures and safety protocol implementation Participate actively in Safety Committee meetings and safety program development Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and maintain detailed inspection records Conduct safety training and assessments for team members and contractors Manage safety documentation and reporting systems Obtain OSHA 30-Hour General Industry certification within 180 daysVendor Management & Operations Support (15% of role): Manage relationships with local contractors and service providers Coordinate contracted maintenance services and facility improvements Provide emergency response support during weekends and holidays as needed Receive machine operator training to support production operations Report to Logistics and Operations Director with dotted line to Safety Manager Maintain comprehensive maintenance and compliance records in Word and ExcelRequired Qualifications: Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent; trade school certification preferred 5+ years of maintenance experience in industrial or warehouse environments Experience with material handling equipment operation and maintenance Background in facility management, HVAC, or electrical systems preferred Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel and Word for scheduling, tracking, and documentation Understanding of preventive maintenance programs and safety protocols Experience with LOTO procedures and safety compliance requirements Valid state drivers license with ability to pass DOT physical Material handling equipment operation certifications (or ability to obtain) Personal Qualities: Strong problem-solving abilities and mechanical aptitude Excellent communication skills for working with contractors and team members Self-motivated with ability to work independently and respond to emergencies Commitment to safety excellence and continuous improvement mindset Flexibility for emergency response and operational support needsPhysical Requirements: Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly Climb ladders and work safely at various heights Stand and walk for extended periods during facility inspections Work in various weather conditions for grounds and exterior maintenance Operate maintenance equipment and tools safely and effectivelyWhat Makes You Perfect for This Role: Youre a safety-minded maintenance professional who loves solving operational challenges and ensuring everything runs smoothly.
