Key ResponsibilitiesPerform scheduled and corrective maintenance on production equipment, following maintenance plans and supervisor direction. Conduct mechanical and electrical line setups and assist with production start-ups, including setup of automated inspection systems. Accurately log all maintenance activities in designated software or forms. Report equipment breakdowns and shift activities, highlighting any issues related to efficiency, safety, or product quality. Identify and report machinery non-conformities; escalate unresolved technical issues appropriately. Support continuous improvement projects, including collaboration with equipment suppliers and internal improvement initiatives. Maintain compliance with all safety protocols, PPE requirements, and cleanroom standards (ISO 5, 7, or 8 environments). Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics for troubleshooting and repair. Provide off-shift support as needed to ensure production continuity. Follow all standard operating procedures and quality guidelines during maintenance tasks. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Associate’s or technical degree preferred. Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in an industrial cleanroom or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical maintenance principles. Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and mechanical drawings. Familiarity with PLCs, HMIs, and robotics preferred. Knowledge of maintenance tracking software and digital documentation systems. Basic computer literacy, including MS Office, Teams, ERP, and LIMS platforms. Trained in cleanroom gowning procedures (ISO 5 and 7 certification preferred). Demonstrated understanding of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards. Strong communication skills; capable of working with cross-functional and international teams. Physically capable of lifting up to 20 lbs, and performing tasks involving standing, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
