A leading organization in the tissue manufacturing industry is seeking aMaintenance Managerto join its team. This role offers the opportunity to apply your expertise in a dynamic, sustainability-focused environment while leading a high-performing maintenance team. Key Responsibilities Lead and develop a team of maintenance professionals and oversee contractor management for maintenance projects. Drive operational excellence by identifying and implementing performance improvements. Monitor asset performance and implement strategies to sustain and enhance efficiency. Manage the scheduling and execution of planned maintenance work orders. Contribute to annual planning and budgeting processes. Prepare and execute investment and asset maintenance plans, including shutdowns, while achieving ROI targets. Foster employee engagement and development. Ensure compliance with internal business processes and industry best practices. Maintain high standards of work quality and safety within the maintenance team. Monitor and mitigate occupational health and safety risks. Champion lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement strategies. Communicate and lead efforts to meet targets related to production capacity, cost control, quality, employee engagement, and safety.Required Experience & Skills Proven leadership experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment. Strong team-building and coaching abilities. Excellent judgment and decision-making skills aligned with organizational priorities. Effective communication, diplomacy, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a 24/7 operational facility. Proficiency with technological tools including Microsoft Office and CMMS. Familiarity with SAP software is a plus.Qualifications Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering Technology (or related field). Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in manufacturing. At least 2 years of experience *****Leading a maintenance department. Coaching and managing individuals. Implementing safe work practices (e.g., Lockout, PPE, confined space).Experience with paper mill equipment and technologies is beneficial. Skilled in planning and scheduling optimization. Experience with KPIs and project tracking. Knowledge of CapEx processes and maintenance systems in pulp and paper mills is an asset.
