Your skills could be critical in helping our teams accelerate progress.The Biomarker Data Analysis group within the Sanofi Translational Medicine Unit analyzes data from advanced, high-dimensional profiling of gene and protein expression to understand the mechanism of action of our drug candidates and identify markers for drug activity and response in this internship, you will learn to identify biomarkers for patient prognosis and drug mechanism of action from high-dimensional profiling data on patients with autoimmune or neurodegenerative diseases. Ready to get started?Main Responsibilities:Learn to analyze large molecular profiling datasets from studies of patients with autoimmune and/or neurodegenerative diseases using R and PythonIdentify biological processes and patient characteristics associated with disease progression and response to treatmentLearn and use best practices for reproducible data analysisCollaborate with biomarker scientists, clinicians, biostatisticians and others to propose biomarkers for upcoming clinical trialsAbout YouBasic Qualifications:Currently enrolled and pursuing a bachelor's, master's, or PhD degree in bioinformatics, biology, statistics, computer science or a related field at an accredited college or university with the expectation that you will complete your current degree by the Spring of 2027Experience performing data analysis in R or pythonExperience with cloud-based Linux computing platformsMust be able to relocate to the office location and work 40hrs/week, Monday-Friday, for the full duration of the co-op/internshipMust be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future.
