Chief Financial Officer (or Controller on CFO Track)

OverviewBanks Construction Company, a privately owned asphalt paving / heavy highway contractor located in the Southeastern U.S., is seeking to hire a new Chief Financial Officer. The current CFO is retiring after almost 30 years of service. The Company is a third-generation business with operating entities and other passive real estate investment entities. ResponsibilitiesProvide Best of Class monthly financial reporting and Work in Process schedules. Manage Job Cost Accounting, Asphalt Plant Material Costing, Equipment Costing, Risk/Insurance Management, Cash Management, Fixed Asset Accounting, Tax Compliance, Information Technology, Human Resources and related responsibilities. QualificationsMinimum of 5 years experience as CFO or Controller of a construction contractor or entity with similar scope of responsibility. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting and CPA certification required. CCIFP or other professional certifications preferred. However, a successful applicant will be required to pass the CCIFP exam. Experience with Spectrum Enterprise Software, B2W Operational Suite, Prophix or similar construction accounting software is a plus. Strong Excel and IT skills are required.J-18808-Ljbffr
