Assistant Maintenance Manager–Georgetown, KYWe’re hiring an Assistant Manager of Maintenance to join our client’s team in Georgetown, KY! This is a direct hire position, offering full-time stability along with a comprehensive benefits and vacation package upon hire. ***** 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM Salary ***** $75,000 – $85,000+ (depending on experience)Role ***** The Assistant Maintenance Manager supports the Maintenance Manager by overseeing equipment upkeep, ensuring machinery safety, minimizing downtime, and driving quality and productivity standards across the facility.Primary ***** Lead the recruitment, onboarding, and training of maintenance staff. Conduct regular performance reviews and address employee concerns promptly and constructively. Manage pay adjustments and disciplinary actions when necessary. Oversee daily maintenance operations for production equipment, facilities, and buildings. Supervise preventative maintenance schedules and coordinate with production leaders on priorities. Develop and manage budgets related to maintenance, facilities, vendors, and supplies. Solicit and evaluate vendor bids, proposals, and work orders. Drive continuous improvement through problem-solving, process development, and change management. Maintain working knowledge of all facility systems (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatic controls, mechanical, etc.). Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and hazardous waste regulations. Schedule and document inspections, repairs, and safety training as required. Manage parts and tool inventories to minimize downtime. Promote and enforce a safe work environment by proactively addressing hazards.Required ***** 3–5 years of leadership experience in maintenance or a related field. Associate degree preferred but not required. Hands-on knowledge of maintenance systems in a manufacturing setting. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams. Skilled with Microsoft Office tools.
