Mechanic

The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in various aspects of farm and heavy equipment maintenance and repair. This role requires proficiency in diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring the optimal functioning of a wide range of machinery, including heavy equipment, farm machinery, and automotive vehicles. The Mechanic will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with others to provide high-quality service.*Duties** Perform diagnostics and troubleshoot mechanical issues on various vehicles and equipment.* Repair and maintain automotive systems such as transmissions, air brakes, hydraulics, suspension, HVAC, and diesel engines.* Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment for repairs and fabrication tasks.* Read and interpret schematics to assist in the repair process.* Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle or equipment needs.* Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.* Assist in the assembly of machinery components as needed.* Perform tire services and brake repairs as part of routine maintenance.*Requirements** Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in Farm and heavy equipment repair.* Familiarity with farm machinery and industrial equipment is preferred.* Experience with dealership operations is a plus.* Knowledge of electrical systems related to vehicles is advantageous.* Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.* Strong skills in using hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, and soldering for repairs.* Excellent problem-solving abilities along with attention to detail when executing repairs.* A commitment to providing high-quality service while ensuring customer satisfaction.* Valid driver's license may be required depending on job responsibilities.
