Job Description These are the most significant job duties performed. The size, scope, and complexity of assigned duties and responsibilities depend on the level and experience of the incumbent. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other responsibilities or special projects not specifically listed below may also be assigned. Enter and manage installation opportunities in CRM to develop accurate monthly forecasts. Conduct site installation surveys to collect necessary information for feasibility and planning. Produce scope of work documents and customer-facing installation quotes in CRM. Work with dispatchers and branch personnel to schedule installs in Microsoft Field Service, adhering to customer promise dates. Execute installations per the scope of work to customer satisfaction while adhering to safety manuals and programs. Follow the installation playbook from start to finish (machine delivery through successful startup). Effectively manage the installation request inbox. Apply strong project management skills to manage schedules, completion dates, and communication with both customers and branch leadership. Ensure proper pricing updates in CRM that support branch and organizational financial objectives. Maintain current knowledge of the organization, industry, and equipment. Communicate with customers about the company’s service value proposition, including post-warranty options. Maintain company vehicle and installation material handling equipment. Follow the company’s safe driving policy and all applicable safety policies. Perform other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities This position has no direct or indirect supervisory responsibilities. Qualifications Required Education and Work Experience High school diploma or GED. 2 years of formal technical training and at least 10 years of related experience. Equipment installation or similar experience. PC knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft applications. Desired Education/Experience 5+ years of installation experience in commercial equipment. Mechanical or electrical experience preferred. Associate degree preferred but not required. Experience installing and removing commercial cooking and/or refrigeration equipment is highly desirable. Prior experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM. Industry certifications are highly desirable. Competencies Technical and Analytical Skills Ability to read and interpret service manuals, installation manuals, and mechanical diagrams. Proficiency in basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, conversions). Compile and summarize data to support supervisors and managers in creating customer-focused strategies. Working knowledge of Windows applications and Microsoft Office programs such as Word and Excel. Provides timely customer updates. Physical Demands & Work Environment Physical Demands Lift up to 75 lbs. with or without assistance. Climb up to 10 ft. with an A-frame ladder. Occasionally access roofs using extension or fixed ladders over 20 ft. Walk 3–5 miles per day. Drive 5–6 hours per day. Kneel, squat, bend, push/pull, and maneuver in tight spaces. Operate motor vehicles, forklifts, machinery, and power tools. Working Conditions Office and customer facilities (including commercial kitchens). Exposure to noise, heat, cold, slippery, wet, or dirty conditions. Travel up to 50% of the time. Hours of Work Normal business hours with occasional extended hours. Flexibility required for early mornings, evenings, and weekends. Must meet critical deadlines.
