Vaco has partnered with our client to hire an experienced Legal Administrative Assistant to provide high-level support to attorneys. *****Act as a primary support resource for attorneys, understanding their workstyles and prioritiesManage communication, track deadlines, and follow through on deliverablesHandle scheduling, time entry, expense reports, and conflict checksDraft, format, proofread, and edit legal documents, presentations, and spreadsheetsAssist with client billing and ensure timely, accurate deliveryCoordinate meetings, travel, conference calls, and events logisticsTrack continuing legal education (CLE) requirementsSupport business development tasks, including scheduling and file organizationProvide general office support, including document management, filing, and client receptionCoordinate deliveries, service of process, and internal communications*****5+ years legal admin supportCollege degree preferred, not requiredMicrosoft Office (especially Word, Outlook, Excel) Document management systems (e.g., iManage) Knowledge of state court filing systemsExcellent attention to detail and organizationStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to prioritize and multitask under deadlinesProfessional, discreet, and proactiveTeam player who can also work independentlyFlexible to work occasional overtimeDetermining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting.
