NTCA–The Rural Broadband Association is looking for a Member Services and Engagement Assistant to join our team. As our Member Services and Engagement Assistant, you will provide project, logistical, and administrative support to the Member Engagement division with a focus on customer service, membership administration, and operational efficiency. You will ensure smooth day-to-day processes and represent the Association professionally to internal and external stakeholders. This position reports to the Member Services and Engagement Manager and may travel occasionally for on-site meetings and events. What will you do? Manage the Membership email account, responding to inquiries, processing renewals, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining high-quality customer service. Maintain accurate member records in the Association Management Software (AMS); oversee data integrity and monthly renewal procedures. Generate regular membership reports and support data needs for the division. With the oversight of the Member Services and Engagement Manager; Assist the Director of Associate Member Engagement with sponsor support tasks, including handling invoice inquiries, providing attendee lists, distributing promo codes, and managing records in the AMS. Provide administrative support for membership-related programs and services (e.g., CyberShare, SRC, CB Survey, eStore, Certificate programs). Help test and implement AMS updates under supervision. Serve as back-up Registrar for select events; manage on-site registration and coordinate logistics with event staff. Perform general office duties such as managing supplies, handling mail, and monitoring the membership phone line. Support events and special projects as needed, promoting positive member relations on-site and online. Collaborate across departments and actively contribute to team goals and organizational success. Support special projects and other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate will have the following position requirements: 1–3 years of relevant experience, or equivalent vocational training in lieu of a degree. Strong verbal and written communication skills; excellent customer service mindset. Ability to manage multiple tasks independently in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), web technologies, and office equipment. Familiarity with AMS platforms (e.g., Association Anywhere) and data processing is a plus. Knowledge of general office procedures and business etiquette. Why work for us?
